A Guide to Salina Regional Health Center in 2022

Regional Health Center

“A Guide to Salina Regional Health Center in 2022” is a guide for what will be the newly-built hospital in Salina, KS. The hospital is set to be completed sometime in 2022, but there are new expansions happening every day. This guide will go through all of the different departments that this hospital has to offer and also provide you with some of the equipment we have on-site.

1) The General Admission Area: Here patients wait for their doctor or nurse practitioner before being called back into a private room or play area awaiting care. If a patient needs additional help, they are assisted by waiting nurses when possible, which is one of our goals because everyone deserves to feel safe while they are here.

2) The Emergency Room: This area is only used when the patient’s condition is deemed to be an emergency. Patients are still able to have a smooth transition into other departments like Our Surgery Center or The Intensive Care Unit.

3) Surgery Center Building: When patients arrive at the hospital, they are outfitted with any necessary equipment before they are sent to their respective departments. A patient’s surgery could be in any of the different rooms in our multiple-building complex. This building includes many different areas for surgeries, including one operating room and one observation unit, which allows the surgeons to stay on schedule and make more money for Salina Regional Health Center.

4) The Intensive Care Unit: This building is for patients that are given the highest priority, and who are in dire need of medical attention. Here, patients can stay with friends and family throughout their recovery. Patients will always be taken care of and it is even possible to stay in this building when a patient’s condition allows them to not have any health complications during their stay.

5) The Lower Level: In “The Lower Level” some areas include the pharmacy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy departments. These departments are usually located on lower floors of buildings due to needing to take multiple elevators or stairs without assistance from staff members physically moving them around the hospital.

Do we have a range of private rooms for incoming patients?

Yes, Salina Regional has a very wide range of private rooms, as well as semi-private rooms. The different rooms also hold different amounts of beds. The greater the number of beds in a room, the lower the price will be. Private rooms can sit anywhere from one to three people depending on how much they are willing to spend while staying at our hospital. Every patient will get the same level of care and compassion regardless if they have a private or semi-private room. Salina Regional Health Center strives for everyone to have their room because privacy is important when you are sick or injured and need help during these tough times in your life.

Where are we going to put all of the equipment that needs to be replaced every year?

Salina Regional Health Center has over thirty acres of land, which is more than enough room to build warehouses and storage units to hold extra equipment or other materials. Instead of having them just laying around and taking up space, they will be neatly organized so everything is within reach when it is time for a new patient to use them.

Will the hospital have any high-tech machines that can monitor a patient around the clock?

Salina Regional Health Center’s main goal is to provide the best treatment for any and all patients who come through our doors. We will have around 5,000 cameras in each of our buildings that will be able to monitor a patient during their stay. These cameras will be monitored at all times, which means Salina Regional Health Center has eyes on you at all times.

Conclusion

As you can see, Salina Regional Health Center has a lot to offer to its patients. We have many different departments and areas that allow patients to have an efficient and smooth recovery. Salina Regional Health Center will always look out for the greater good of their patients, and always treat them the way they would want to be treated if the tables were turned. With these new changes in place, we are confident that we will never lose a patient because of necessary precautions being overlooked or not taken at all.
